Amaka's Favorite Hair Products

Hey Dolls, I thought i'd share my favorite products with you all. I believe that as a natural, it is important to find which products work for you. Trust me when I say that you DO NOT need 100,000 products in your hair regimen. Less is more. I’m not going to lie, at one point I had succumb to product junkyism but it was just a waste of time and money. .All the these products I use are under $20.

Shampoo: Terressentials Lavendar Garden organic hair wash is a USDA certified organic hair wash. It is a bentonite clay based hair wash. It gently removes dirt and grime but allows the natural sebum oils to remain. Hands down one of my best buys as a natural.

Conditioner: Shea moisture deep treatment masque is also another great buy. I use this product every so often, more so during colder seasons. With the shampoo I use, deep conditioning my hair isn’t really necessary since my hair isn’t being striped.
Cost: $10
Can be purchased at: Target, Walgreens, CVS, online...

Leave in: Kinky curl knot today is a great leave in conditioner. It gives my hair slip and moisture. This stuff is pretty expensive so I add some oils and aloe vera juice to it, just to get a little more bang for my buck.
Cost:$12
Can be purchased at:Target

Shea moisture's curl enhancing smoothie: I like this product but only on freshly washed hair, mostly in the summer time. This product is water based and my hair loves water during the summer. Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie can be purchased at target for $10

Besides water, these products are the only products I use on my hair. What works for you?

XOXO,
Amaka
